“Eating a Salad at McDonalds is Like Going to a Whore for a Hug”

Posted April 18th, 2011

I saw this quote on-line recently.  It is likely to be taken as extreme at first glance but it isn’t in reality.

One of the most pervasive evils that lures us into the trap and thus the results of the trap is food and unhealthy food.

It is well documented and demonstrated that the typical sexually and visually driven man would struggle to resist a little more than a hug from a beautiful and willing woman under the right circumstances.

We do the same thing with food.  We often times begrudgingly agree to a salad but enthusiastically look forward to what comes after that.  We add a Coke or a bag of fries or a burger or whatever else we want and justify it by the fact that we “ate our greens” first.

There is truth to these assumptions but the underlying problem is that we are not satisfied with that which brings us the best long term value.  Like the story in the bible where the son gives his younger brother his birth rights in exchange for a bowl of soup, we too give up our health in exchange for the short term satisfaction our taste buds deliver.

I contend that we can choose to be really happy with the food that is best for us.  Food that is made by God in His garden (the world), and which enables our living bodies to manifest more life, as they were designed to!

Eat to live!

Plant Based Omega-3 (vegan clary seed)

Clary Seed Oil

Omega-3 Fatty Acid

Clary seed oil is now available for sale in the USA.  It is not cheap but it is available and will likely cramp the fish oil sales nationally because it is the very first (and very stable) plant based omega-3 oil available on the planet.

Below is a video where Jerrod introduces the oil to you.  This is an unusual video because Jerrod has never endorsed a health product outside of those offered or previously approved by Hallelujah Acres.

Dr. Tel-Oren. Dr. T. posted a video explaining more about the benefits of this plant based Omega-3 oil: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1X_mhdJ0Na4

Here is a quick update on a praise card I got recently regarding Five Percent Chance.

Healing Cancer Naturally – A Doctors Perspective

Posted January 17th, 2011

Cancer and Doctors.

What do Doctors really know about cancer?

It is interesting to listen to doctors that are really interested in whole body health.  When you do, you hear them discourage the use of conventional medicine and the knife.  Enjoy this brief video from a candid doctor that is helping people achieve true health and is willing to talk about it.

Gradual Steps to Cancer Treatments

I was diagnosis over ten years ago and given a 5% chance of living. This sort of information is motivating. But, for some reason, I am compelled to believe that it is more than simple motivation that healed me or lead me to the understanding that maybe I had some part in my ill-health. I wrote about this in the book I authored titled Five Percent Chance.

Melanoma Survival Story - Melanoma Treatments

As I went along learning how I was metaphorically stabbing myself with a sharp knive (or fork), I realized that there was a way to walk our of disease just as there is a clear and well-traveled path to walk into it. I realize that I wasn’t going to be “perfect” in my diet and lifestyle overnight (or ever) and I realize that it was ok.

So, I began a quest for finding good things to eat and I realized along the way that I needed to choose to be satisfied in these foods. That is a big statement. I needed to “choose” to be happy, to be satisfied with what I was eating. That may sound like a leap but it really isn’t as tough as one may assume. More on this topic later…

For now, I simply want to express that there is a gradual slope into a healthy lifestyle that can help with all sorts of dis-ease issues including cancer but also many other ailments. Over 10 years ago, I began such a journey and have found myself to be more in awe and enjoyment of food than ever before. I hope I can encourage you to make similar changes.
